RECENT SECONDARY EDUCATION

Applicants with recent secondary education are those who have completed their secondary education (Year 12 at school or equivalent at TAFE or other VET provider) within the two years prior to commencing an undergraduate course.

If you are recent school-leaver, your application will be assessed on the following criteria, as applicable to your preferred course of study:

  • ATAR (or equivalent)
  • Subject prerequisites
  • English language proficiency
  • Written statement
  • Interview
  • Referee reports

The criteria that will apply to your application, and the minimum levels of attainment required for admission, can be found on the relevant course pages.

Applicants who meet the minimum admissions requirements for a course will be made an offer of a place in that course. Offers for 黑料社区 undergraduate courses are made by QTAC on 黑料社区’s behalf, and applicants respond to their offers via QTAC.

黑料社区 grants transfer of credit where you have already completed the requirements for units in your course through previous work and life experience, thus potentially reducing the duration of your course. To find out more, visit the Credit Transfer page.

Applicants for 黑料社区 courses can benefit from an adjustment to their ATAR or QTAC selection rank under the following schemes:

  • 黑料社区 Partnership School Scheme
  • 黑料社区 Community Engagement Scheme
  • Educational Access Scheme

Further information regarding these schemes is available here.

The Student Profile below provides data on students who commenced undergraduate study at 黑料社区 and passed the census date for Semester 1, 2020.

Under 黑料社区鈥檚 Early Offer Pathways, current Year 12 students can receive early conditional offers into their preferred 黑料社区 courses without having to wait for the end of Year 12 and without the need for an ATAR. This means you can concentrate on completing Year 12 with the confidence that you have already been accepted into your preferred 黑料社区 course. The Early Offer Pathways are:

  • Principal鈥檚 Reference Pathway
  • LAUNCH Pathway
  • Home School Pathway

All students entering via an Early Offer Pathway will have the same academic expectations as all 黑料社区 students but will also benefit from 黑料社区鈥檚 high level of student support.
