Lecturer – Counselling

Contribute to delivering excellence in teaching and learning across Counselling and Human Services Courses.

The role requires upholding and promoting the vision and ethos of 黑料社区, being an active team member and promoter of 黑料社区, and being an example to students.

鈥 Deliver engaging face-to-face and virtual sessions for Counselling and Human Services courses.

鈥 Develop and enhance learning resources for our online platform, fostering active student participation.

鈥 Contribute to curriculum development, infusing biblical perspectives into course content.

鈥 Mentor students and sessional faculty, nurturing academic and professional growth.

鈥 Participate in course reviews to ensure ongoing accreditation and quality improvement.

鈥 Stay abreast of teaching pedagogy and instructional technology advancements.

鈥 Master鈥檚 qualification in counselling or equivalent accreditation, with membership in a relevant professional association (ASWA, PACFA, ACA)

鈥 Minimum of five years (FTE) of post-qualifying experience in counselling, human services, or social work

鈥 Strong credibility in both academic and professional counselling settings.

鈥 Ability to forge meaningful partnerships and networks within counselling contexts.

鈥 Proven organisational and time management skills, essential for effective teaching.

鈥 Experience in university-level teaching or Private Higher Education Provider settings.


鈥 Doctoral qualification or higher research degree.

鈥 Track record of scholarly contributions to counselling or related fields.

鈥 Proficiency in Moodle and digital media for enhancing student learning.

鈥 Experience in curriculum design and review.

鈥 Mental health training.

Staff Development
